He came as a servant
My Master, my King
He came down from glory
He left everything
All this He did
And then so much more
Because of a love
That will always endure
Born in a stable
In Bethlehem
Condemned to a cross
In Jerusalem
All of the miracles
That He had done
So quickly forgotten
By everyone
Except for a few
Who were faithful to Him
As men whipped Him and beat Him
Again and again
He had so much to give
He kept nothing back
Thirty-three years He served
Then He died for our sake
Risen, in Glory
He still serves His own
Molding and shaping
And leading us home
