Blessed are the men and women who reverence the Lord
Who walk daily in His Spirit, delighting in His Word
Their descendants will excel in everything they do
The generation of the upright will be blessed each day anew

Riches and honour reside within their home
Given to them by the Father, all these come from Him alone
Theirs is righteousness forever for the blood has set them free
Even in the darkness, they’ve the Light of victory

They’re people of compassion, they are gracious and upright
They are generous, lending freely, in God’s favour they delight
Their affairs they guide with justice; they’re not shaken in their faith
Their hearts are steadfast when bad news comes, trusting in the Father’s grace

 

God bless your flat so cosy
God bless the food you eat
God bless you in your daily chores
God bless you when you sleep

God bless the words you utter
God bless your thoughts each day
God bless you in your love for Him
God bless you every way

I wish you perfect happiness
And love and laughter too
That will not fade at sunset
But be yours, your whole life through

May all your secret longings
And hopes and dreams come true
And may God guide you daily
In all you say and do

May your family bonds grow stronger
In the beauty of His light
Make each stumbling block a stepping stone
And in His love delight

May you fulfiLl your destiny
Prepared by God above
That the world may be a better place
For many through your love

I prayed to the Father
To watch over you
And lead you and guide you
In all that you do

And God in His mercy
Brought comfort to me
As He held you and guided you
So tenderly

Today I give thanks
For the road that you’ve come
In Christ you have trampled
The barriers down

Though the road has been tough
And the journey uphill
You’ve not given up
God is guiding you still

 

Deeply loved and highly favoured
Daughter of the King of Kings
Clothed in righteousness and beauty
Safe beneath my Father’s wings

Dwelling daily in His presence
None can pluck me from His hand
Though my enemies attack me
In God’s Glory I will stand

When I tire in the battle
And my shield sags, leaving me
Vulnerable to Satan’s onslaught
God is quick to rescue me

Tenderly my Father heals me
When I’m wounded in the fight
He does not reproach, but rather
Strengthens me to do what’s right

Deeply loved and highly favoured
By my Father, El Shaddai
I will honour praise and worship
At the feet of God Most High
