Wasted Lives with None to Care

Wasted lives with none to care
Lives lived in darkness and despair
So many talents unfulfilled
In many graves forever stilled
Plastic faces, hidden sighs
And smiles that seldom reach the eyes
Hollow laughter, empty mirth
Shallow conversationalists
There is a doorway out of this
There is a key to happiness
beckons one and all
Friend, won’t you heed our Saviour’s call
Fulfill your destiny in HIM
Your cup will overflow its brim
Invest the talents you’ve received
That many more may be conceived
Allow His love to flow through you
And daily mold your life anew
You’ll know the comfort of His peace
And love and joy that will not cease

LAW VS GRACE

Eph 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved 😉
Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Eph 2:7 That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

The angels pointed toward Calvary when they sang: Today is born a Saviour who is Christ the Lord. Peter, James and John went up with Jesus to the mount of transfiguration and Moses [law] and Elijah [prophets] appeared with Jesus. Not knowing how to react, Peter said to build three memorials.God immediately cut him short by saying: This is my beloved Son. Hear ye Him.He didn’t say: ‘Hear the law’ or ‘hear the prophets.’ He said: ‘Hear ye Him.’
Jesus transcended the law and the prophets. He fulfilled the law, not having broken one aspect of it and fulfilled all of the prophesies which pointed toward Him and the salvation of God through His death and resurrection. In fact, He is still fulfilling them.

The first thing Jesus said straight after was: Do not be afraid. God didn’t place His Son on the same level as the law and prophets.
Jesus is the Grace of God in action.
Peter means stone.
James [His real name is Jacob. Greek: Iakobos – pro. Ee-ak-o-bos.   It was changed to immortalize the name of King James] means sup-planter.
John means Grace of God.
On the mount this signified that the Law was supplanted by Grace.
How were we made the righteousness of God?
The same way Jesus was made our sin. He never did sin, just as we did nothing to earn our righteousness.
All of our sins provoked the righteous anger and wrath of God. Because Jesus was made our sin, the fiery wrath of God was unleashed on Jesus. When we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, we were made His righteousness. We stand perfect before God, not because of anything that we did, but because of what Jesus did.

He bore every sickness, disease and infirmity so that we could be whole in our bodies and minds. He became poor so that we could be rich. He didn’t become a little poor, so that we could become a ‘little’ prosperous. He took on all of our poverty. He hung naked on the cross. He didn’t even have a garment. You may recall that the soldiers cast lots for it.
He was even deprived of a drink of water, given instead a foul tasting drink of myrrh and vinegar which He refused, so that we could have an abundance to drink.
He told the woman at the well: [John 4:13-14] whosoever drinks of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst. The water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
If we could please God or earn our place in Heaven by works, then Jesus died in vain. It is impossible for man to enter Heaven by good works. It is only by grace, through faith in the finished work of Jesus that we can enter in. It is not by trying, but by dying that we may enter in. When we were baptized into Christ, we put off the old man of sin and rose with Him into newness of life.

We are not saved by works, but the inner working of the Holy Spirit prompts us to do that which is pleasing to God. We of ourselves can do nothing. Jesus said,” I do that which the Father shows me.” Whenever we take our eyes off Jesus, the Living Word of God, we mess up. When we do, God doesn’t take a whip to us. He gently convicts us through beautiful, majestic Holy Spirit. While we are still approaching His throne to ask for forgiveness, He runs to us with outstretched arms and lovingly, joyfully embraces us, drawing us so close that we can feel the beating of His heart. It is there we feel His overflowing love filling us with unspeakable joy and peace flooding our beings, lifting us up to higher ground.

The problem with sin is that it never brings long term happiness. For a while it seems pleasant, as it did in the Garden of Eden. Then its tentacles reach out and slowly squeeze the peace, joy and abundant life out of us. Sadly we often don’t realize the pain and harm that we cause ourselves as well as others because of our actions. Like a giant octopus, sin’s tentacles envelop us and drag us down into the cold depths of darkness, alienating us from the light of God’s love.

Fortunately God’s love is totally unconditional. He loved us when we were still aliens to the commonwealth of God and He’s going to love us no matter how many times, or how far we fall. He will never force us to come back to Him, but when we do, our Father will be waiting for us to come home, with deep longing in His heart and unfathomable love in His eyes.

If you have not yet given your life to God, or if you have fallen into sin, do not allow pride or shame to stop you from coming home. God will never reject you. He loves you as He loves Jesus. He sacrificed the Son of His love in order for us become a part of His royal family. There is no greater love found anywhere than the love of our heavenly Father.

PARDON ALL MY TRANSGRESSIONS

Pardon all my transgressions,Lord
Forgive my sin, I pray
Cleanse my soul
From all evil today

With Your blood bleach sin’s crimson stain
Make my heart white as snow
Take my hand
Let my love for You show

Yes, I love You my Lord
And I won’t look back again
You’ve opened up my eyes
And I will never be the same

Lord, it was for my sins
That You died at Calvary
Gave Your life
So that I may be free

And I know that in You, my Lord
Eternity is mine
And I’ll worship You
In truth, my God divine

Protect Your Daughter Israel

Hem Israel in behind and before
To keep every evil at bay
For her salvation is surely at hand
May Israel repent in this day

And, Father, I pray You’ll protect Your flock
Against powers who seek to destroy
May the seed that is planted, bear fruit, every one
May Your chosen rejoice with great joy

Open blind eyes and make deaf ears to hear
The truth that’s been hidden so long
For till Israel comes in, we will not be complete
In Your strength make her perfect and strong

The land of the promise is under attack
And the heathens seek to control
The West Bank and Gaza, and all they can grab
Lord, restore her and make her whole

A pagan temple defiles the place
Where Your holy temple stood tall
Destroy this abomination, my Lord
See the tears at the wailing wall

Embrace her again as You did long ago
Hide her under Your wings in this day
May she know her Messiah who’s waited so long
For her love and acceptance, I pray

One Lost Sheep Found

One lost sheep found means more to God
Than all the gold on Earth
Ten thousand angels do rejoice
At just one soul’s rebirth

Unless we’re baptized into Christ
Baptized into His death
How can we live in Jesus
And forevermore be blessed

Jesus gave His life to save us
All He asks us in return
Is that we live our lives for Him
Despising every sin

Can we neglect so great a gift
And choose the road to Hell
The horrors there are greater than
The human mind can tell

God has prepared a city
And it’s streets are paved with gold
He has invited all of us
Though we be young or old

To share His untold treasures
To be His chosen Bride
This promise is to all of us
Who in His Word abide

Restore Israel

Restore Israel
Our Father, we pray
Look down on their suffering
And show them the way

Reveal the Lamb
That was crucified
Lord, show them the reason
You suffered and died

Restore precious sight
To eyes that are blind
Unfasten the shackles
Which have them confined

Reveal the Messiah
They desperately seek
And strengthen the hands
And the knees that are weak

Bring peace unto Zion
Our Father above
Pour down Your blessings
Of mercy and love

Remember Your promise
To Abraham
Bring salvation and joy
To Jerusalem

Have You Ever Thought Give Your Heart

Have you ever thought to give your heart to Jesus
And leave behind the pleasures of the world
Worldly things cannot compare with those of Heaven
The only perfect peace is found in God

Have you ever knelt before the loving Father
And thanked Him that for you He gave His life
You can never find your happiness without Him
In this world there’s only heartache and strife

Oh, the untold pleasures I have found in Jesus
The peace He’s given to my searching soul
There is no life, but only death without Him.
I thank the Lord that He has made me whole.

Beloved Children in this World

Beloved children in this world
The Master bids you come
Walk out of darkness into light
And live within the Son

Beloved children don’t delay
Don’t look back and don’t doubt
Please hear the Master’s urgent call
For time is running out

Beloved children don’t you know
You’re kidnapped royalty
Don’t be a slave to darkness
Your King has set you free

When Your World comes Tumbling Down

When your world comes tumbling down
And leaves you feeling low
And no-one stops to listen
And you’ve no-where to go

When tears are threatening to fall
Like raindrops in a storm
Life seems to have no purpose
And you wish that you weren’t born

When all your friends have let you down
Your heart has torn in two
Remember there’s a loving God
Who watches over you

If only you would turn to Him
He’ll soothe away your pain
He’ll fill your life with laughter
And love that will not wane

I Reached for the Stars

I reached for the stars
In the Heavens above
My Saviour waited
With patience and love

I chased after rainbows
They disappeared
My cry of frustration
My Saviour heard

I tried to hold sunbeams
They passed through my hand
My Saviour watched sadly
I wept in the sand

I tried to turn back
The hands of time
My Saviour stood by me
In love divine

I sought things eternal
Oh! Sweet ecstasy
My Saviour is granting
These things unto me
