So often we’re hurt in the house of our friends
Betrayed by the ones we hold dear
And we can’t comprehend their maliciousness
For their motives are often obscure

So often a knife cuts deep in our soul
And we’re wary of trusting again
So we shun anybody who tries to get close
Not wanting to suffer our aim

Christ Jesus was also betrayed by His friends
And wounded by them unto death
But He cried for forgiveness for what man had done
Gave us life with His dying breath

We need to learn a lesson from Him
And forgive those who do us wrong
We need to break down the walls we’ve built up
And in love we need to stay strong

 

Speak words of life, not bondage
Your words are a powerful force
They can set you free, or chain you
Your words will set the course

You set spiritual laws in motion
By every word spoken aloud
Be careful of idle words you speak
Speak words of faith, not of doubt

Pray the solution, not the problem
And never speak defeat
Never speak in condemnation
Never speak words of deceit

Your words, like electricity
Can bring forth pain or gain
Control your tongue and it will bring
Prosperity, not shame

And always be Word conscious
Every spoken word is seed
Whether seeds of good or evil
So to every word give heed

I know you by name

My love so fair
With another I’ll never
My beauty share

Your eyes are dove’s eyes
Your raiment is white
The midday seems dusky
Compared to your light

The moon’s at your feet
Glorious sight
The jewels in your crown
Are twelve stars of the night

You’re clothed with the sun
And being with child
You’re travailing in birth
You are undefiled

 

He gave His life on Calvary
To give us life abundantly
From Satan took away death’s keys
And healed us of infirmities

He left His glorious throne on high
In love that no-one can deny
To set us free, to justify
To set apart and sanctify

And we, His children, sing His praise
And thank Him for His wondrous grace
And steadfastly we’ll run this race
Until we meet Him face to face

 

In the North, the South, the East and West are strongholds holding back
The Gospel of the Kingdom so prepare now to attack
In the mighty name of Jesus bind these strongholds of the night
That our brethren, still in darkness may be drawn into the light

Send forth ministering angels to lead them in the way
That is quickest to salvation through your fervent prayers each day
Send the angels to protect them lest they die at Satan’s hand
Before they meet with Jesus, ask these things in Jesus name

Brethren, ask the Holy Spirit to stir up their nests that they
Be moved out of their comfort zones and choose the narrow way
Pray with fervour that the laborers will be sent to the field
Those gifted ministries to rise up and God’s mighty sword to wield

Ask for boldness to tell people lost in sin that Jesus cares
Give a helping hand to others don’t just offer them your prayers
Be prayer warriors, my brethren prayers of faith bring barriers down
Agonize for those in darkness that God’s kingdom may abound

Unless your heart is burdened till you feel it wants to break
For the souls still bound in darkness, God can’t use you for His sake
You need the heart of Jesus to go on the battle ground
Or you will not give the best you can to let God’s rule abound

 

God said that He calls Heaven and Earth
As a witness against you today
He’s set before you prosperous life
And destruction and decay

Death and curses follow those
Who turn their backs on Him
Who choose to worship other gods
Who cause death and vile sin

He is the One who gives you life
And blessings from above
Choose life that you and yours may live
Protected by His love

Hold fast to Him, He is your life
And heed the words He says
And He will give you many years
Just trust in Him always

When you have tasted good wine
How can you stand the bad
There’s simply no comparison
Between them to be had

When you have tasted manna
Plain bread will never do
The sweetness of that heavenly bread
Will always stay with you

When you have tasted waters
Which flow from God above
Plain waters cannot satisfy
You’ll never get enough

 

God has called a people
Who are holy unto Him
Who will not compromise with those
Who revel in their sin

God has called a people
Set apart in righteousness
Who strive to do His perfect will
Not settling for less

God has called a people
Who hear and know His voice
Who worship at His throne of grace
And in His Word rejoice

God has called a people
Trained in warfare who will stand
Against the powers of darkness
Soldiers who’ll possess the land

 

 

Greater is the Lord within me than
He that is in the world
I’m the Lord’s and I will overcome
In Him my life’s fulfilled

No evil can come near me
For He’ll preserve my soul
In Him my steps are ordered
I’m made righteous, I’m made whole

He makes darkness light before me
And all crooked paths makes straight
All I do He makes to prosper
And upon Him I will wait

He’ll renew my strength when weakness
Weighs upon me heavily
He’ll uphold me by the right hand
Of His righteousness in me

He’ll not fail me, nor forsake me
He’ll be with me all the way
I’ll not lack for He’s my Shepherd
And He’ll lead me every day

 

Fear God and He will lead you
In paths of righteousness
You’ll have honour, wealth and riches
Love, peace and happiness

Fear God and you’ll have long life
Your children will be blessed
No evil will come near you
In Him you’ll find your rest

Fear God and you’ll have knowledge
If you seek His will each day
You’ll have wisdom, understanding
And you’ll walk the narrow way

His angels will surround you
And protect you from all ill
God will fill you with His Spirit
And His law in you instill
