Blessed are the Men and Women [Inspired by Ps 112:2-7 & 1Chron.21:12]

Blessed are the men and women who reverence the Lord
Who walk daily in His Spirit, delighting in His Word
Their descendants will excel in everything they do
The generation of the upright will be blessed each day anew

Riches and honour reside within their home
Given to them by the Father, all these come from Him alone
Theirs is righteousness forever for the blood has set them free
Even in the darkness, they’ve the Light of victory

They’re people of compassion, they are gracious and upright
They are generous, lending freely, in God’s favour they delight
Their affairs they guide with justice; they’re not shaken in their faith
Their hearts are steadfast when bad news, comes trusting in the Father’s grace

Bless the Lord oh my Soul and All that is Within Me [Inspired by Ps 103:1-5]

Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and all that is within me
Worship His Holy Name
Bless the Lord, oh my soul, glorify the King of Glory
For He forever stays the same

Bless the Lord, oh my soul and forget not all His benefits
Lift up His Holy Name
Bless the Lord, oh my soul, for He forgives all your iniquities
He has broken every chain

Bless the Lord, oh my soul for He has healed all your diseases
Give thanks to His Holy Name
Bless the Lord, oh my soul, for He’s redeemed you from hell
His is all the splendour and the fame

Bless the Lord, oh my soul, He crowns you with loving kindness
His sure mercies enfold your frame
Bless the Lord, oh my soul, for He fills your mouth with good
So that your youth is renewed once again

Birds Sing Whenever a New Day Dawns

Birds sing whenever a new day dawns
And night creatures give voice every night
The trees of the field clap their hands in the breeze
And the sun touches all in its sight

Stars sparkle against the black canvas of night
They’re magnificent in their display
And the moon’s ever changing yet constant form
Softly shines to light up our way

What an awesome Creator, our God and King
To whom lightning and thunder bow down
He controls the formidable, raging sea
And the storm clouds which hide the sun

He sends the snow and the pouring rain
And the cold winds and the hurricanes
In His presence the earth quakes and splits in two
And tornadoes tear up the plains

And at His command the sun warms up the land
And the ice and the snow melt away
And flowers spring up and decorate fields
In a diverse colour display

No attention to detail was spared when God made
The earth and the Heavens above
From the tiniest life form to the greatest star
All was made in God’s perfect love

As the Heavens are High Above the Earth {Inspired by Ps 103:22]

As the heavens are high above the earth
So great is God’s mercy toward those who fear Him
And as far as the east is from the west
So far has the Lord cast away all our transgressions

As fathers show kindness toward their children
The Lord has compassion on all those who fear Him
He remembers that we are subject to time
For He knows we are dust, He remembers our origin

Our days are like grass, as a flower of the field
So we’re born and we flourish and then we are gone
Like a fragile flower in the force of the wind
And by many we’re forgotten before too long

But the mercy of the Lord endures forever
Toward all of His people who fear His Name
And His justice toward all our descendants
The children of the Covenant living in His reign

The Lord has established His throne in Heaven
And His Kingdom rules over all of His dominion
Bless the Lord all angels who do the Lord’s will
Bless the Lord all you hosts, in perfect unison

Born to Suffer and to Die

Born to suffer and to die
Because He loved
Undefiled, He lived midst sin
Because of love

Healed the sick and raised the dead
Through wondrous love
Set captives free and preached the truth
In endless love

Despised and spat upon and mocked
By those He loved
Beaten till His bones showed through
His healing love

Resurrected from the grave
For those He loved
Bore the scars inflicted
By the ones He loved

Wore a crown of thorns, shoved there
By those He loved
Nailed upon a cross, He died
For those He loved

Ascended into Heaven
Done, His deed of love
Now He dwells within the hearts
Of those He loves

‘Peace I Leave with You

‘Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.’
John 14:27
Peace is not an absence of trouble. It’s finding peace in the eye of the storm. It’s walking in peace in the midst of turmoil. This peace is a peace that surpasses all understanding. [Phil. 4:7] This is a peace that guards our hearts and minds, so that we do not stress by dwelling on the problem, but live in peace by being focused on the solution as we keep our eyes on Jesus, the Author and finisher of our faith.

All for me, yes, All for me

All for me, yes, all for me
Jesus suffered all for me
Agonized in prayerful plea
For me at Gethsemane

All for me, yes, all for me
Punched and mocked exceedingly
Mercilessly whipped for me
Beard plucked out by Pharisees

All for me, yes, all for me
Crowned with crown of thorns for me
Blood flowed from Him endlessly
As He walked to Calvary

All for me, yes, all for me
Nailed to the cross in agony
Naked for the world to see
Shamed, made sin because of me

All for me, yes, all for me
Wounded unto death for me
Blood and water flowing free
When His side was pierced for me

All for me, yes, all for me
Jesus died in place of me
With a shout of victory
He rose again to set me free

I See You in the Flowers

I see You in the flowers
In the fragrance of their smell
You are life’s fragrance unto me
And Lord I love You well

In the beauty of their colours
Which I’ve come to love so well
I see Your wondrous facets
Too fathomless to tell

I see You in their green leaves
For they speak of growth and life
They also speak of fellowship
And of abundant life

Therefore I Urge You, Brothers

Therefore I urge you, brothers, in view of GOD’S mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to GOD – this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what GOD’S will is – His good, perfect and pleasing will.
Romans 12:1-2
It’s not by trying, but by dying. We are transformed and our mind renewed, when we spend time in the Word of GOD and in His presence. Anything we try to change in our own strength, is going to fail.
Any fruit we bare by works, belongs to the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Such fruit might look good for a while, but it’s going to end up rotting.
If we’re to bare Holy Spirit fruit, we need to walk in the Spirit every day. It is, after all, Holy Spirit’s fruit, not our own. His fruit is holy and eternal as it grows on the Tree of Life. We cannot bare this fruit, if we are not abiding in the Tree.
Stay blessed with every Spiritual blessing as you abide in the shadow of the ALMIGHTY GOD.

It Pleased Father God

It pleased Father God to send His Son
To be tortured and die in our stead
And our forefathers mocked, both Gentiles and Jews
While the Saviour suffered and bled

The Father’s heart broke as He gazed at the scene
But He had to allow it to be
And He silently watched Jesus suffer and die
In order to set mankind free

Fairest one of ten thousand disfigured so much
He was marred more than any man
An object of horror and many were stunned
But their frenzy could not be restrained

Despised and rejected, forsaken, by all
He suffered in silence, alone
The soldiers’ whips pounded and ripped his back
Till His flesh was stripped to the bone

Thorns were imbedded deep in His skull
From a crown that the soldiers had made
And beat into His head by a rod in full swing
While no-one came to His aid

After stripping Him naked, a kingly robe
Was hung on His blood soaked form
Then the garrison bowed and hailed Him as King
As they shamed Him and laughed in great scorn

When the robe was removed, all these soldiers took turns
To spit in His sinless face
This man who had never done anything wrong
Was wrongly dishonoured, disgraced

When they drove in the spikes, Jesus whispered: Forgive
While the Father watched from above
And He hung there and died knowing full well
All the souls who’d reject His love
