PARDON ALL MY TRANSGRESSIONS

Pardon all my transgressions,Lord
Forgive my sin, I pray
Cleanse my soul
From all evil today

With Your blood bleach sin’s crimson stain
Make my heart white as snow
Take my hand
Let my love for You show

Yes, I love You my Lord
And I won’t look back again
You’ve opened up my eyes
And I will never be the same

Lord, it was for my sins
That You died at Calvary
Gave Your life
So that I may be free

And I know that in You, my Lord
Eternity is mine
And I’ll worship You
In truth, my God divine

If Only the Whole World Could See

If only the whole world could see
How deprived they are, they’re not free
How empty the lives that they lead
In this world of corruption and greed

If only the whole world could know
The wonders that You have to show
Many would turn from the vortex of sin
Enraptured, they would enter in

If only the whole world knew of
The depth of Your wonderful love
If they sought Your glory and grace
Saw the beauty of Your holy face

But their hearts are bewitched, and their eyes
Are blinded by all Satan’s lies
And only a remnant are free
A people whose treasure is Thee

Lord, Can It Be

Lord, can it be
This precious love You have for me
Is not just universal love
That covers Heaven, earth and sea

Lord, can it be
You love me individually
That You’re consumed
With love that has no bounds for me

Lord, can it be
That you love me with jealousy
Born from the passion
Raging in Your heart for me

Lord, can it be
That when I sleep, You stay with me
And look upon me tenderly
Devotedly protecting me

Lord, can it be
That You long with intensity
To spend my waking hours with me
In sweet communion
Constantly

Lord, can it be?

How Precious Lord to Realize

How precious Lord, to realize
You think about us constantly
Even when we’re fast asleep
Your thoughts outweigh the galaxy

In number they exceed the sand
In love, immeasurable
Your thoughts for us are thoughts of peace
Our wholeness is Your will

Your plans are plans to teach us how
To rule and to subdue
The darkness roaming on this earth
As we are led of You

Your thoughts are thoughts to prosper us
In every single way
In spirit soul and body
As we walk the narrow way

But more than this, You think about
The day You’ll fetch Your Bride
We’ll rise to meet You in the sky
And stay close by Your side

The World Cries Freedom

In this modern age where freedom
Is the cry throughout the earth
Woman’s rights remove the rights of babes
Who haven’t come to birth

China’s rights to communism
Overrule the right to teach
The beauty of the Gospel
They keep Bibles out of reach

Many people jailed and tortured
Inhumane, atrocities
Perpetrated against Christians
Because of their beliefs

In Uganda millions martyred
By Islamic radicals
Many more forced into slavery
For being in God’s will

Christians killed by their own families
In Islamic countries still
And many Islamic rulers shout
Death to the infidels

In Australia, gay rights remove
The Christians’ rights to preach
The unadulterated truth, the Word
Is being called hate speech

But more stupefying, the people
Who have Bibles of their own
Collecting dust upon the shelf
In many of our homes

They still have freedom of religion
Yet they turn their backs on God
Defame, blaspheme, and curse Him
Make a mockery of the Lord

On the right a people
Whose priority is God’s will
On the left those who despise Him
And to death will hate God still

In the middle, there’s another group
Lost, living in despair
Who need a light to guide them
To a loving God who cares

Wake up Christian warriors
Leave passivity behind
Strive to bring in all the lost sheep
We are running out of time

Storm Clouds

Though storm clouds clothe the sky in gloom
Beyond them lies the sun
Though oft our lives seem worthless
There’s hope for everyone

Though oft’ our hearts are broken
There’s healing for each wound
The Healing balm of Gilead
To patch up lives once ruined

Though there is death around us
We’ve life abundantly
For Jesus took our sin away
Through death at Calvary

Suffering is but for a Moment

Suffering is but for a moment
Passing ship upon the sea
But the wondrous love of Jesus
Reaches to eternity

Riches give us temporal pleasure
But the joy of earthly gain
Can’t compare with those of Heaven
Given in our Father’s name

Worldly peace is an illusion
Peace comes only from above
Given to the Kingdom children
By the power of His love

Precious Moments

Precious moments fly away
Never to return again
In its wake lie wasted lives
Filled with deep regret and shame

So many moments wasted
As men strive for earthly gain
Like water running through our fingers
Disappearing down the drain

We can never more relive them
Can’t rewind the hands of time
We cannot change our yesterdays
We can’t rewrite one line

Oh that we could capture time
And lock it in a vacuum
Until we learn to treat it
As a rare and precious gem

Yet may experience teach us
That although we cannot change
The past, there’s still the present
To be lived and well arranged

If I Could See What Lies Ahead

If I could see what lies ahead
Would it be good for me
Would I be satisfied, dear Lord
To know my destiny

Or would I cringe away from it
And rather want to die
Would I just shrug my shoulders, Lord
Or would I want to cry

As long as You are with me, Lord
I know I need not fear
For You’ll protect and guide me, Lord
And dry my every tear

Policemen

Thankless jobs for little pay
Their lives in danger every day
They strive to curb the needless crime
Yet they’re perpetually maligned

They’re stalked and ambushed by vile men
Who prey upon the innocents
And while it’s true some are corrupt
They’re not the ones who are snuffed out

Without them crime would escalate
Till all that’s left is fear and hate
A lawless country cannot stand
But will become a desolate land
