Let us then approach the THRONE OF GRACE with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Heb. 4:13
As long as we focus on our shortcomings in self condemnation and imagine that GOD is seated on His throne far above us, looking down on us in disapproval, we will find it impossible to approach the Throne of Grace with confidence.
However when we comprehend the Creator of all that was and is and is to come, the King of kings and LORD of lords, abides in us; and when we comprehend that we in turn dwell in the Most Holy, All Powerful loving GOD, our confidence starts to outweigh all the doubt and fear that the evil one tries to instill in us. It is this wonderful knowledge of who we are in GOD that gives us the confidence, even at our lowest point, to come before the throne of Grace, knowing that we will receive grace and favour in our time of need.
GOD is Grace. GOD is Wisdom. GOD is love. GOD is Good. Every perfect thing flows out from GOD.
The more we search the Scriptures, the more we discover the greatness of our amazing GOD and the endless love that embraces and covers us. To the GOD of all Grace be praise forever and ever.

Your Word is a Burning Lamp

Your Word is a burning lamp to my feet
Your Word came and made my life complete
Your Word is the reason I am free
Your Word is the One who died for me
Your Word is my shelter from each storm
Your Word is the reason I’m reborn
Your Word is my Sword against the foe
Your Word is my Guide wherever I go
Your Word is my Rampart and my Shield
Against the weapons my enemies wield
Your Word is the One who supplies every need
Your Word is the nourishment on which I feed
Your Word is the Wisdom on whom I depend
Your Word is my Advocate, quick to defend
Your Word is the Power living in me
Your Word is the Key to my destiny

Father GOD, You Know Me Well

Father GOD, You know me well
You see each move I make
No thought of mine escapes Your ear
You know each route I take
Before a word is on my tongue
You know what I will say
You hem me in behind, before
Through every passing day
If I should choose to leave Your side
To what place could I flee
If I should travel throughout space
You’d still be there with me
If I should lie down in the grave
You’ll raise me up again
If I should fly to far off lands
Your presence will not wane
For even there You’ll hold me close
And guide me by Your hand
In love too great and wonderful
For me to understand
There is no darkness deep enough
To hide me from Your sight
For darkness is as day to You
And flees before Your sight
Within the darkness of the womb
You made and shaped my form
Since my conception stayed with me
And watched when I was born
All of the days ordained for me
Were written even then
Before one of them came to be
Beginning to the end
How precious are Your thoughts of me
How vast the sum of them
Their number far surpasses all
That I can comprehend

I Will Abide in You Forever

I will abide in You forever
I will feast upon Your Word
Learning more about You daily
Practicing all that I’ve heard
I will drink Your Crystal Water
It will daily quench my thirst
I will share It with the thirsty
I will always put You first
I will dwell within the shadow
Of Your precious wings of love
Where no evil can befall me
Set my eyes on things above
I will shine within the darkness
And my light will not grow dim
For Your fire is eternal
And it fills my heart within

When the Mountain’s Too High

When the mountain’s too high
And we can’t tunnel through
And we seek Your face
But the pain blocks our view
When we stand on Your Word
Having done all to stand
Till our knees start to shake
And we can’t understand
We can’t help but wonder
What’s taking so long
But we hold to Your promise
And pray to be strong
Then all of a sudden
The mountain falls down
As it’s threshed and it’s winnowed
To dust on the ground
And all we can do
Is fall down on our knees
And give thanks to You, Father
For our victories

Who is there like You

Who is there like You, my Fortress, my Tower
Who is there like You, all glorious in power
Who is there like You, triumphant in all
By Your holy right hand Your enemies fall
Who is there like You in mercy and grace
Who in this universe could take Your place
Who is there like You, who can compare
To Your glory and splendour, found anywhere
Who is there like You, able to reign
In justice and truth, LORD, who can proclaim
A love such as Your which fills all the Earth
Which loves the unlovely and gives man new birth
LORD, I declare that there’s no-one like You
You’re holy and righteous in all that You do
No nuclear power compares to Your might
Your reign is eternal and awesome Your light

You spread Your protection over me

Thank-you, Father GOD, that You spread Your protection over me and surround me with Your favour as with a shield. Thank-you that whatever trial I might face today, I will not face it alone, for Your presence is always with me. You are my ever present help in times of trouble. You walk with me on the mountain heights and also in the darkest valleys. You never leave me, nor forsake me. You know my going out and my coming in. There is nothing hidden from Your sight. I love You, Father. All glory, honour and praise Belongs to You alone. Amen

Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.
[Phil. 4:8]
It is so much better to think on positive, Godly things, than to think on negative things which cause fear, anger, pain or bitterness. Many sleepless nights are avoided this way.
When we lose focus on the good things and concentrate on the bad, our joy and peace in the Lord are the first things to flee from us.

Now He Who Supplies Seed

Now He who supplies seed to the Sower and bread for food, will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to GOD.
2Cor. 9:10-11
Every seed will always bring forth after its own kind. When we sow finances, we also reap finances; when we sow love, we also reap love. When we sow kindness we reap kindness and when we sow compassion, we also reap compassion.
Bad seeds also bring forth after their kind. Sowing and reaping is a spiritual law that GOD used to create the earth. We need to be careful of the seeds we sow. We will reap a harvest regardless, as any farmer will confirm.

Let them be your last thought as you lie on your bed
For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise
Glorious and honourable are all His ways
Look at the moon and the stars in the sky
Look at the oceans which never run dry
Look at the valleys and mountains so tall
And give thanks to the LORD who created them all
Let the high praises of GOD be the way
That you wake every morning to face a new day
And the joy of the LORD will fill all your being
And cause you to triumph through , our King
