Every sickness and every disease
Every unbearable pain
Vanished as soon as they came face to face
With the Spirit filled Son of man
The paralyzed walked and the seizures ceased
The demon possessed were set free
The deaf heard, the mute spoke, the barren bore fruit
And those who were once blind, could see
Leppers were cleansed and the dead raised to life
stilled the raging storm
A multitude fed on two loaves and five fish
Yet the Pharisees laughed Him to scorn
The Son of GOD stood on a mountain high
His face shining like the sun
His clothes became white as the radiant light
While John, James and Peter stood stunned
They saw Moses, Elijah and converse
In the glory that seemed like a shroud
Then a bright cloud enveloped the three of them
And GOD spoke from within the cloud
This is My Son whom I love and with whom
I am well pleased, so listen to Him
Afraid, they fell face down upon the ground
Astonished by what they had seen
As the Son of man, spread the Good News
In power wherever He went
As the Son of God, He forgave man’s sins
And His heart for Jerusalem rent
As the Son of man He died on the cross
Beaten and bloodied and scorned
As the Son of God He sits on the throne
In crown and scepter adorned
