Love letters from my Bridegroom
Written centuries ago
Every Word of His is Flawless
Like the love that He bestows
Every promise He has given
He will bring to pass in me
For each Word is Yes and Amen
And will stand eternally
Love letters that I cherish
And hold deep within my heart
Words of life and love and mercy
And of wisdom He imparts
And in turn I write love letters
And He reads each one with care
Then smiles and draws me closer
And in joy I linger there
