Lord, loose the bonds of slavery
Please break the chains and set us free
May all the people be as one
May the barriers all fall down
May evil flee before Your face
Please free our souls from sin’s disgrace
Lord, free our minds from prejudice
And fill our hearts with tenderness
Whether brown or black or white
Please fill us with Your wondrous light
Unite us in Your perfect love
Until we all fit hand in glove
Like dogs of the wild
They tore at Your flesh
And plucked out Your beard
In a frenzy for death
Unsightly, disfigured
By hands cruel with hate
Was it sane that these actions
Their hearts could elate
Barbaric, demonic
Unthinkable deeds
Yet allowed by the Father
To meet all our needs
These atrocities caused
By our fall from God’s grace
And love made You suffer
And die in our place
All the powers of darkness
Rejoiced at Your pain
Determined to kill You
But You rose again
Now they tremble in unbridled
Anger and fear
Knowing You’ve won
And that judgment is near
At the time that’s appointed
All creatures shall bow
And confess You are Lord
And Yours all the power
Born without the stain of sin
Rejected and despised by men
A tender shoot in desert sand
He flourished in God’s mighty hand
He never caused another pain
He never sought for worldly gain
Yet He was hated, mocked and feared
But also loved and much revered
He bore our sorrows, bore our pain
Bore our infirmities and shame
He bore our illness and disease
And caused the dragon’s reign to cease
All our sin and misery
Nailed in His body to a tree
He set us free from death and Hell
Because our Saviour loves us well
Our lives are epistles read of all men
Letters read daily again and again
May the story they tell be Godly and pure
Drawing the readers to read more and more
Our lives are epistles, so heed what you say
And beware of the life that you’re living each day
For people are watching each move that you make
Give glory to GOD in each step that you take

Without spot, nor blemish, in garment of white
I present you in love, for in You I delight
Redeemed by My blood and cleansed of all sin
My beautiful Bride, you’re all glorious within
Receive all the gifts that I offer to you
Each gift is a token of love ever new
Eat at the table that I have prepared
And drink of My water that you may be fed
Walk in My Spirit that you may bear fruit
That will cause souls to hunger for that which is food
Preach the Good News to all who will hear
And tell everyone that My Kingdom is near
Many are trapped in the kingdom of night
They’re needing a key to My Kingdom of Light
As long as my hand
Is in Yours, I know
I need never fear
Wherever I go
For Your love is my fortress
Your strength is my shield
And nothing can harm me
In all of this world
Though the enemy comes
As a flood after me
And tries to deprive me
Of my liberty
I know that in You
I have wonderful peace
That the world cannot take
And the world cannot give
Lord, guard my mind, my thoughts, each day
And guard my lips, that what they say
May be approved of You, I pray
Lord, guard my life in every way
Lord, guard my feet that they may stay
Upon the path of life, I pray

The good where there is none to see
