Swiftly the Years

Swiftly the years
Have passed me by
On gossamer wings
Unnoticed did fly

Many years
Have withered away
And a new dawn has broken
To herald the day

Many years
I’ve been given by grace
And many more promised
As I run this race

Much time has been wasted
And much time well spent
Of time that was wasted
My Lord, I repent

Swiftly the years
Still allotted to me
Will come to an end
And Your dear face I’ll see

May I use wisely
The time still decreed
Exalting Your name
Both in word and in deed
