The Musician

He learnt to use his talent
As a little boy of three
Singing to the adults
As he sat upon their knee

He learnt to play the music
That he loved on a guitar
His little face aglow with pride
As he played each bar

People loved to listen
For they thought he was unique
For this boy had developed
His very own technique

Throughout the years that followed
This talent ruled his life
It caused him endless heartaches
And arguments and strife

Yet he so loved the music
That it possessed his soul
He played all kinds of music
From a waltz to rock and roll

The people cheered and clapped and screamed
And called for an encore
As the music blared and people danced
And swirled across the floor

Though he did not realise it
Many souls were sent to Hell
As they worshipped to the music
That he learnt to play so well
