Throughout life’s path You’ve walked with me
And oft’ through harsh terrain
And often I have wandered off
An easier route my aim
And patiently, in infinite love
And grace beyond compare
You waited until I returned
And led me on from there
At times I’d grow too weary
To stand on solid ground
Then You would fill me with Your strength
When no-one was around
And through the years Your steadfastness
Taught me to trust in You
Whatever obstacles I face
In all I say and do
And daily I grow stronger
As I learn to trust You more
For no good thing will You withhold
Of this much I am sure
