Thank you, Lord, for Your faithfulness..

When we speak these words in praise from the heart, we not only express, but also increase our dedication to the LORD. In saying this, we recognize that all we have, comes as a result of GOD’S promises to us – as a result of His faithfulness in our lives. This type of praise recognizes that we can be dedicated to GOD, because He is dedicated to us. This type of praise recognizes that He is dedicated to our joy, our peace and our growth and that GOD has dedicated Himself to our personal joy and fulfillment.

How dedicated is GOD? [Romans 8:32] says: He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him, freely give us ALL things?

GOD is FAITHFUL. He deserves the praise and the glory for His unwavering faithfulness.

I’ve a Story to Tell

I’ve a story to tell
Though old, ever new
It’s the greatest love story
Mankind ever knew

Of a Bridegroom who’s Father
Had chosen a Bride
For the Son of His Love
His joy and His pride

His Son left the Kingdom
Of Light up above
To a kingdom of darkness
To set free His love

Guarded by dragons
And fierce dogs of hell
His bride lived in darkness
And thought all was well

Till He broke through the gates
With a two edged sword
And pierced through the darkness
And fought off the hordes

The light of His countenance
Turned night to day
And wherever He went
The dark kept at bay

He washed her and clothed her
In raiment pure white
And His love overflowed
For she was His delight

He returned to prepare
A feast for His bride
And soon He will fetch her
To live at His side

 

If Holy Spirit Lives in Me

If Holy Spirit lives in me
How can I be defeated
The Holy Spirit’s power in me
Is the power in which I’m seated

No longer just a human
For GOD has translated me
Into His perfect Kingdom
And I dwell in victory

GOD”S exceeding great and precious
Promises are mine and given free
I partake of Divine Nature
And death has no hold on me

I’ve escaped all the corruption
That is in this word through lust
All that pertains to life and godliness
Is given unto us

In the knowledge of the Father
Who called us to higher ground
We live in His glory and virtue
Even when no-one’s around

Now unto Him who’s able
Through the power that works within
To do far more than we ask or think
All honour, glory, praise to Him

It is I Who Created the Blacksmith

It is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work” And it is I WHO HAVE CREATED THE DESTROYER TO WORK HAVOC; no weapon formed against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from Me,” Declares the LORD.
Isaiah 54:16-17

The children of GOD have been baptized with power from on high [Holy Spirit power] to overcome the onslaughts of the evil one. God allows him to work havoc in our lives for one reason only: to bring His children to maturity in Him. Every time we face a trial and overcome it by standing in faith on the promises of GOD, we reach a higher level of maturity.

GOD has called us to wear the full armour of GOD and to fight the good fight of faith. Sometimes we get wounded or weary in the battle, but He is always there to bring healing and strength for the next battle we’re going to fight. Furthermore, He prepares a table for us in the middle of the battle ground. That is where we feast on His Word and receive the fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit to continue the fight.

GOD has promised that no weapon formed against us will prevail. No matter how many burning arrows [fiery darts] the enemy shoots at us, our breastplates of righteousness are impenetrable and our shields of faith will ward them off. As for wagging tongues who judge, gossip, and accuse us falsely; we will prove them to be lying weapons of the enemy, sent to harm us. GOD said that this is our heritage and our vindication from Him.

God never promised that our walk with Him would be easy, but the rewards far outweigh the discomfort.

Lord, You Fill My Heart with Songs

Lord, You fill my heart with songs
Of worship and of praise
In languages known and unknown
Oh, Ancient One of days

Lord, from my heart the river flows
And gushes eagerly
Out of my mouth as love wells up
From deep inside of me

LORD, You fill all of my being
With Holy Spirit fire
And in Your presence I am strong
Your will is my desire

Lord, Your Word is life to me
You are the air I breathe
You are the essence of my being
To You, my Lord, I cleave

 

From Beneath the Throne of God [Inspired by Rev 22:1-5]

From beneath the throne of God
A crystal river flows
Down the midst of Zion’s great street
The wondrous river goes

On either side the Tree of Life
Stands strong in holy ground
It bears twelve crops of fruit each month
It’s fruitful all year round

Its leaves are for the healing of the nations
There won’t be
Any curse or darkness
For the Lord Himself will be

The Light Who lights the darkness
No need for lamps nor sun
His name is on the foreheads of
His people, every one

In love His own will serve Him
For He’s Faithful and He’s true
We will give Him praise thank Him
For He’s made our lives anew

At His throne His own will worship
And adore the King of kings
In the splendour of His presence
For all the joy He brings

Oh LORD GOD of Israel, there is no GOD like You

Oh LORD GOD of Israel, there is no GOD like You on Heaven or on Earth – You who keep Your covenant of love with Your servants who continue wholeheartedly in Your way. You have kept Your promise to Your servant David my father; with Your mouth You have promised and with Your hand You have fulfilled it – as it is today. [2 Chronicles 14-15]

Praise GOD who always fulfills His promises!

GOD is not a man that He should lie. Every promise He has made, He keeps. If He said it, you can rest assured He’ll bring it to pass. Trust in Him with all of your heart and don’t look to your own understanding. He is more than your GOD. He is also your Heavenly Father who loves you as much as He loves Jesus. There is nothing you cannot talk to Him about. He knows all of your yesterdays and all of your tomorrows. Nothing is hidden from His sight. There is no problem too big for Him to solve, no darkness so deep that His light cannot penetrate it and remove it from your life. GOD said that the work that He started in your life when you gave you heart to, Him, He will bring to completion. Discover His promises as you read the Bible and meditate on them continuously. Speak the Word and claim the Truth in your life and see the glory of GOD as He brings each one them to pass.

Peace I leave with you

‘Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  [John 14:27]

Peace is not an absence of trouble. It’s finding peace in the eye of the storm. It’s walking in peace in the midst of turmoil. This peace is a peace that surpasses all understanding. [Phil. 4:7] This is a peace that guards our hearts and minds, so that we do not stress by dwelling on the problem, but live in peace by being focused on the solution as we keep our eyes on Jesus, the Author and finisher of our faith

Our Great High Priest

Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the Heavens, Jesus, the Son of GOD, let us hold fast to our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Let us therefore come boldly to the Throne of Grace, that we might obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. [Heb 4:14-16]

Jesus understands our every weakness, and how easy it is to fall into temptation, because He was tempted too. On the cross, He took all our sin and transgressions and nailed it in His own body to the cross. There is nothing that we have done, or will do, that He doesn’t already know. It is His blood that is forever on the Mercy Seat. It is His blood that has washed us whiter than snow, leaving no trace of sin. When we come into the presence of GOD, we come as blood washed, blood bought children of the Most High GOD. That is why GOD’S unending grace [His unmerited favour and blessing] is always available to us.

When we can comprehend this, our consciences will stop condemning us, reminding us of past sin and telling us that we are unworthy to receive anything significant from our Heavenly Father. It is then that we will feel free to come boldly before the throne of God.

Do not Fling away your Fearless Confidence

Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward. For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of GOD and thus receive and carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised. [Heb. 35-36]

Sometimes we need to wait patiently, with fearless confidence on the LORD, until He fulfills what is promised. There are times when failure seems inevitable. It is then that we are to stay calm and focus on the Word in the face of adversity. It is at this point that Satan applies extreme pressure on us to give up and let go of GOD’S Word. Having come so far, don’t do so. We cannot succumb to Satan’s pressure without flinging away our confidence in the promises of GOD. There’s no middle ground. When it comes to standing on the WORD, we’re either on or we’re off.

Patience has the courage to refuse to believe what Satan tries to prove in the physical world. When Satan’s pressure says that GOD is not working on our behalf, patience rejects it as a lie. Patience knows that when faith is exercised to receive a promise from GOD’S WORD, success is inevitable.
