Who of Us Can Dwell [Inspired by Isa 33:14-16]

Who of us can dwell
With Consuming Fire
Or can dwell
With Everlasting Burning

He who walks righteously
Speaking what’s right
He who rejects gain
From oppression’s might

He who keeps his hand
From accepting bribes
And turns his ears
From plots of murder

He whose eyes
Will never contemplate evil
Who will not join
In causing upheaval

This is the man
Who will dwell on the heights
His refuge will be
The fortress of rocks

His bread will be
Supplied every day
And his water will
Never waste away

The Good Man

The good man brings things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgement for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted and by your words you will be condemned. [Matt. 12:35-37]
Most people limit this Scripture to blasphemy, gossip, lies, deceitfulness, foul language, verbal abuse and people plotting evil. If only it were that simple, it would apply mainly to the unsaved.
This Scripture, however, applies to anything that is contrary to the Word of GOD. (Rom3:4) Let GOD be true and every man (speaking against His Word) a liar.
(1 Peter 2:24) ….by Whose stripes (scourging) you were healed
We are not to speak illness or infirmity over ourselves. For instance: I have a blinding headache. Instead, speak the finished work of the cross. Tell the headache to go in the Name of Jesus as it has no place in you because by the stripes of Jesus you were healed. If the pain doesn’t leave instantly, don’t doubt. Stand in faith and give GOD praise and thanks and it will flee. Just believe.
(Mark 11:23)…….whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. If you are in a financial crises quote the Scriptures regarding prosperity daily, even several times daily, until it resonates with your spirit. In every situation, when you can see it, its yours.
Saying: I can’t, it’s impossible, I’ll never recover, I’m never going to make it, are contrary to the Word. (Php 4:3) I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me.
(Hosea 4:6) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. (2 Peter 1:3) His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him Who called us by His own glory and goodness.
(Prov 18:21) Death and life are in the power of the tongue. Those who love it will eat the fruit thereof.
Never condemn yourself for falling short at times. Like a strong soldier, pick yourself up and carry on fighting the good fight of faith.
It’s all a learning process even as it is a faith walk. GOD has given us all the same measure of faith. Holy Spirit indwells us, so everything in Him is in us. The seed of faith is planted within us and within that seed is the potential eternal supply of mustard trees. All we need to do is water it every day by the waters of the Word and the life giving waters of Holy Spirit within our bellies. We do that by (Eph 5:18-19) And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs and making melody in your heart to the Lord. When you do these things it’s called meditation. That is how the Word becomes one with your spirit until all you say is in line with the Word of GOD.
Don’t forget to pray to the One who loves you so much that rather than live without you, He died in your place, bearing all your sin so that you could be with Him eternally.
Have a wonderful, blessed day.

GOD is the Creator of every Moment of your life

GOD is the Creator of every moment of your life.
How many moments do you waste on things that reduce your quality of life; things that steal, kill and destroy your peace, your joy and even your health?
Every moment GOD is consumed with loving thoughts of you.
How many moments do you spend in loving thoughts of HIM?
How many moments do you spend in meditation regarding HIS will in your life? How many moments do you spend in sincere prayers of thanksgiving for all the blessings that you have received, or in worship before HIS throne of grace?
Allow GOD to be your guide, your protector, Your physician, your financial adviser and, most importantly, your beloved.
There are treasures beyond compare in GOD’S Word. Search the Scriptures daily so that you might obtain wisdom in all that you do.
Remember that moments wasted in running after things that cannot satisfy can never be recaptured.
Spend your moments wisely

We were made righteous when Jesus was made sin.

On that memorable day, while our Saviour hung on the cross in agony, His body wracked with pain and weakened by the terrible torture and blood loss, the skies darkened as fallen angels filled the air. Every demonic force in the universe congregated above Golgotha and the surrounding areas. Each one of them was excited, eager and willing to bombard the holy, sinless body of Jesus with their filth of sin. They knew that He was exhausted and in acute pain, thirsty and sapped of physical strength. They had waited to destroy the seed of the woman for four thousand years. They had killed all the prophets in an effort to get rid of the Chosen One. Now was their time, they reasoned among themselves. Surely with such a brutal attack they would cause Him to sin. Surely He would curse GOD and die. After all, how could one man stand against the entire kingdom of Hell, especially in such a weakened state?

For three hours they bombard Jesus. Sin, condemnation, selfishness, covetousness, idol worship, foul language, lies, deceit, adultery, theft, murder, hatred, confusion, gossip, backbiting, pride, death,………The attack went on for what must have seemed like an eternity to Jesus, until He cried out in despair, “My GOD, My GOD, why have You forsaken me?” For the first time in His life, He couldn’t address GOD as Father. He had taken our place, taken all of our sin upon Him. He could no longer feel the presence of GOD, because the thick, evil darkness covered Him. He was experiencing separation from GOD. This was something Jesus had never before experienced. He and His Father had always lived in complete unity. Jesus had never sinned. Hell was incapable manipulating Him to sin, but the punishment for our sin was upon Him. After the demons had poured out every conceivable sin within them upon Jesus, the demons left, and the skies cleared.

Jesus then shouted with a loud voice, “It is finished! He was proclaiming that the debt had been paid in full. Immediately after, Jesus bowed His head and said, “Father, into Your hands I commit my spirit.” and died.  Jesus couldn’t die by human hands, as He had never sinned and the punishment for sin is death. He had to choose to lay down His life.

We cannot become more righteous than we are by works. We cannot add to the finished work of the cross. We are already made the righteousness of GOD and that not of our own effort. The closer we draw to Jesus, the more our righteousness becomes visible, as it begins to shine more brightly through the veil of our flesh. We will continuously go from brighter to brighter, from strength to strength and from glory to glory as we keep our eyes and hearts on the precious, unadulterated Word of GOD until His perfect image is fully revealed in us. All glory, honour and strength be to our GOD forever and ever. Amen.

My Child Do Not Forget My Teaching [Inspired by Prov. 3:1-8]

My child, do not forget my teaching
But keep my commands in your heart always
For long life and peace they will add to you
And you will be blessed for your length of days

Don’t let mercy and truth ever leave you
Bind them round your neck as a precious jewel
Write them on the tablet of your heart
My Word is a Sword that will win every duel

Then you will find favour and high regard
In the sight of Almighty God and man
Trust in Me with all of your heart
And do not lean to what you understand

In all your ways acknowledge Me
I’’ll make every path that you travel straight
And don’t ever be wise in your own eyes
But fear the Lord with each step you take

My Son Stand Firm

My son, stand firm when evil comes
Against you as a flood
When you’ve done all to stand, then stand
Full armored on the Word

For God will raise a standard
Against the enemy
Though they come from one direction
In seven they will flee

Clothe yourself in righteousness
Seek wisdom with your heart
She’ll protect and she’ll watch over you
And precious truth impart

Hold tightly to instruction
Guard it well, for it’s your life
Seek knowledge, understanding
Shun all wickedness and strife

Pay attention, listen closely
For My Word is life to you
And health to all your body
And your life it will renew

Love Does not Gossip

Love does not gossip
Is never unkind
Love does not envy
And love isn’t blind

Love is forgiving
Love’s patient and strong
Not boastful, nor proud
Keeps no record of wrong

Love isn’t self-seeking
Self-centered, or rude
Not easily angered
Love always does good

Love never slanders
Love covers all sin
Love does not cause discord
Love does not wear thin

Love joys not in evil
Rejoices in truth
Prefers one another
Is never uncouth

Love always protects
Trusts, hopes, perseveres
Love never fails
And Love never fears

Do Not Put You Trust in Idols [Inspired by Jeri 10:3-5; Ps 136:3-4;]

Do not put your trust in idols
They can’t see, nor hear, nor speak
They have no understanding
To provide the peace you seek

Do not put your trust in moon and stars
Though they’re an awesome sight
Nor in the sun which shines by day
To bring us warmth and light

Do not put your trust in princes
Nor in the strong, nor in the brave
Nor in presidents, nor rulers
Of this world that’s so depraved

They’re mortal men who cannot save
Their lives are but a breath
And all their plans will perish
At the moment of their death

Do not put your trust in fortresses
Nor in celestial beings
Creation cannot save us
Nor this world’s material things

But put your trust in God alone
And in the power of His Word
For He is able to deliver you
From every evil work

Take Heed How You Hear

Take heed how you hear the things that you hear
And by what you measure the things that cause fear
Emotions are the taste buds of life:
Fear, anger, joy, sadness, the cause of much strife

Israel stayed in the desert for forty years
Because of their focus on ten men’s fears
Joshua and Caleb saw victory
While those men saw defeat by the enemy

When the giant provoked Israel to their shame
And taunted Saul’s army again and again
David looked at the giant and heard his conceit
And with his first stone he caused his defeat

There is so much fake news that we see and hear
Be careful to which things you lend your ear
Only GOD is trustworthy, His Good News is true
Believe what He says, not what media tells you

Don’t let outside events steal your joy and your peace
Don’t attach your own meaning and give fear increase
Victory and joy don’t depend on events
They depend on your focus, on GOD’S Word depend

The Influence of a Few Evil Men

When the crowd saw the Lord on an ass and her colt
As He regally passed by their way
They threw down palm branches and robes in His path
In honour and glory that day

Blessed is the King of Israel
The large crowd loudly uttered
Hosanna, blessed is He who comes
In the name of the Lord, they shouted

What a triumphant entry to Zion
What a glorious welcome they gave
Who could believe that in just one week
He would walk the road to the grave

How could a crowd turn from worship to hatred
When Jesus had done them no wrong
How could a few evil men change their mindset
How was their influence so strong

Throughout the ages it took just a few
Like Nero, Hitler, Verwoerd
Castro, Qaddafi and Idi Amin
To cause crowds to see evil as good

Beware of the wolves in sheep’s clothing which come
To influence, kill and destroy
Protect your minds in the Word of the Lord
And peace and long life you’ll enjoy

Pray for the children still lost in the night
For the Antichrist will soon appear
And the world will be damned as they cling to his words
For the day of God’s judgment draws near
