I Believe That We Need to Lower our Expectations of Man

I believe that we need to lower our expectations of man and heighten our expectation of GOD. In doing so, we will never be disappointed.
People cannot always live up to our expectations. It’s unfair to expect more than they are able to give. They’re a work in progress. GOD will complete the work that He started in them according to His infallible Word.
On the other hand, when we lower our expectations of GOD, we limit the blessings that He wants to lavish on us, because of our unbelief. In heightening our expectation of GOD, we open the floodgate of His glory upon us.
Stay blessed as you keep your eyes on Jesus.

All That the Father Has, is Mine

All that the Father has, is mine
For I’m a child and heir
I’ll never lack for anything
I do not have a care
For Jesus came to give me life
Gave life abundantly
More than abundant life on earth
He gave eternity
I’ll never live in poverty
Nor with infirmity
For I’m set free from every curse
That sin made due to me
And daily I will give God praise
All glory to the Lamb
Who rose from death in victory
Destroying Satan’s plan
And daily I will give God thanks
For love so rich and free
That He spared not His only Son
To save someone like me

Do Not, Therefore, Fling Away your Fearless Confidence

Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward. For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of GOD and thus receive and carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised.
Heb. 35-36
Sometimes we need to wait patiently, with fearless confidence on the LORD, until He fulfills what is promised. There are times when failure seems inevitable. It is then that we are to stay calm and focus on the Word in the face of adversity. It is at this point that Satan applies extreme pressure on us to give up and let go of GOD’S Word. Having come so far, don’t do so. We cannot succumb to Satan’s pressure without flinging away our confidence in the promises of GOD. There’s no middle ground. When it comes to standing on the WORD, we’re either on or we’re off.
Patience has the courage to refuse to believe what Satan tries to prove in the physical world. When Satan’s pressure says that GOD is not working on our behalf, patience rejects it as a lie. Patience knows that when faith is exercised to receive a promise from GOD’S WORD, success is inevitable.
Stay blessed as you keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and finisher of our faith.

Now He who supplies seed to the sower

Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to GOD.
2Cor. 9:10-11
Every seed will always bring forth after its own kind. When we sow finances, we also reap finances; when we sow love, we also reap love. When we sow kindness we reap kindness and when we sow compassion, we also reap compassion.
Bad seeds also bring forth after their kind. Sowing and reaping is a spiritual law that GOD used to create the earth. We need to be careful of the seeds we sow. We will reap a harvest regardless of what seeds we sow, as any farmer will confirm.

See that No-one Renders Evil for Evil 1Thess.5:15-24

See that no-one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.
Rejoice always.
Pray without ceasing.
In everything give thanks; for this is the will of GOD in Christ Jesus for you.
Do not quench the Spirit.
Do not despise prophesies.
Test all things; hold fast what is good.
Abstain from evil.
Now may the GOD of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.
1Thess.5:15-24
In exchange for the garment of heaviness GOD has given us the spirit of joy. [Isa 61:3] Prayer is communion with the One we love, our GOD and Father of all. There is power in the prayer of faith. Prayer overcomes the attacks on our minds by the evil one. Prayer causes us to set our minds on whatever is good, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, whatever is excellent or praiseworthy. While we are soaked in the Light of GOD’S presence, no darkness can seep in. The dark, ugly, painful memories and the evil arrows that want to plague our thoughts and cause fear, pain, lust, vengeance or greed, cannot pass through the force field of GOD’S glory. When we give thanks from a grateful heart for the endless blessings bestowed on us in fathomless love, the Holy Spirit within us ignites a joy unspeakable and full of glory, filling us with power as we revel in GOD’S love. When we spend time in GOD’S presence and in the beauty of His Word, the peace of GOD’S fills us, removing all fear and doubt. In His presence it is easy to abstain from evil. Sweet and bitter waters cannot spring forth from the same fountain. There are many false prophets today. Do not, however, despise prophesy, but remember to test all things by the Word of GOD and to hold fast to that which is good.  Praise GOD who has sanctified us completely in spirit, soul and body and will preserve us blameless at the coming of Lord Jesus. Our GOD is faithful. The work that He has started in us He will bring to completion.

No temptation has seized you

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And GOD is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. When you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand under it.
1Cor. 10:13
There is nothing that you and GOD cannot face together. Hold onto His unchanging hand and know that you are never alone. He will never leave you, nor forsake you. You are as precious to our Father GOD as Jesus is. What a mighty, awesome GOD we serve.

May the GOD of HOPE Fill You

May the GOD of HOPE fill you with all JOY and PEACE as you TRUST in Him, so you may OVERFLOW with HOPE by the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT.
Rom. 15:13
In a world filled with turmoil, corruption, crime, illnesses and disease to name but a few dark attributes of a fallen world, all of life seems hopeless to many people stumbling around in darkness with no light to see.
It is only when we reach toward the Light of the World, our precious Lord Jesus Christ, and trust in His omnipotent power to save, deliver and heal that we are filled with all joy and peace even in the midst of trials and temptations. It is only in keeping our eyes on the Most High GOD while the storms of life rage around us, that we are able to overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is by His power that we are delivered, saved, healed and able to overcome all the wiles of the evil one and his minions.
Peter walked on water till he turned his eyes from Jesus and considered the storm. It was already storming when he stepped out of the boat, but as long as he kept his eyes above the circumstances and focused on our Saviour nothing could stand in his way.
We are not to consider the storms that come our way, but to rather consider the One who stilled the storm. The very storms that were sent to break us, lose their power and end up making us stronger each time we face one of them.
The Word never said that we would not have trials and temptations on the road of life, but it did say that He would not leave us nor forsake us. In His power we are more than conquerors.
Stay blessed in Christ

If We Sow Thorns

If we sow thorns, we will not reap roses.
Seeds always bring forth after their own kind.
Be careful of the seeds you sow and always sow them in love. Sow seeds of kindness and compassion. A smile can warm the coldest heart. A kind word spoken can bring fresh hope and can turn around a life bent on self destruction. Think carefully before you sow seeds. Life and death are in the power of the tongue.

Threshing Sledge

“See, I will make you into a threshing-sledge, new and sharp, with many teeth. You will thresh the mountains and crush them, and reduce the hills to chaff. You will winnow them, the wind will pick them up and a gale will blow them away. But you will rejoice in the LORD and glory in the Holy One of Israel. Isaiah 41:15-16
God has given us the authority and the power of Holy Spirit who indwells us, to remove all the obstacles of the enemy. He has given us His armour and His sword. We should not complain to GOD about everything. We need to thresh the mountains that stand in our way and allow the wind of Holy Spirit to blow them into the sea. He has given each of us the measure of faith. We are not to look at the size of Mustard Seed faith, but rather we should look at its potential. That was the point that Jesus was making when He said how big the mustard tree grows. When we put our trust in GOD, all things are possible.

When the Mountain’s too High

When the mountain’s too high
And we can’t tunnel through
And we seek Your face
But the pain blocks our view
When we stand on Your Word
Having done all to stand
Till our knees start to shake
And we can’t understand
We can’t help but wonder
What’s taking so long
But we hold to Your promise
And pray to be strong
Then all of a sudden
The mountain falls down
As it’s threshed and it’s winnowed
To dust on the ground
And all we can do
Is fall down on our knees
And give thanks to You, Father
For our victories
