Your love is all encompassing
There’s no prejudice in You
Regardless of the circumstance
Your love will see us through
Your love is never ending
All love has its source in You
It’s love that drew You to this earth
To give us life anew
Your love is deeper than the oceans
And higher than the skies
Encompassing all space and time
Can’t calculate its size
Your love reaches all of Heaven
Angels worship and adore
At the wonder of Your endless love
And bow their heads in awe
Your love embraced the pain You suffered
At the hands of evil men
As they nailed You to the rugged cross
You prayed for all of them
Your love held nothing back, You gave Your all
With painful breath
Forgave a dying thief
And having paid sin’s price faced death
No hatred could have kept You down
Love conquered all that day
And You arose forevermore
To guide us in Your way
When the bright twinkling stars have faded away
In the East the sun rises to herald the day
Then the flowers open their petals to peep
At the wonder of dawn as they’re roused from their sleep
The rooster cries boldly: It’s time to awake
And the white swans swim gracefully in the cool lake
As they search for breakfast of silvery fish
And the dog strains playfully against its leash
The little worms wiggle back into the ground
As the birds try to catch them and there’s the sweet sound
Of a nightingale singing a tune to its mate
And the mewing of kittens too greedy to wait
For their mother to feed them, but she hears their call
And climbs in the basket beside the white wall
A baby stirs softly and opens his eyes
And through a window he sees the blue skies
A red breasted Robin flies into the room
And perched on the cot, sings a gay little tune
The baby laughs sweetly, oh life is so grand
A new day controlled by the Master’s hand
No place that I would rather be
Than in Your presence, God, my King
I feel Your love wash over me
Your joy fills my entire being
It’s hard to leave this place of prayer
While I’m in Heaven’s perfect realm
I feel Your peace embrace my form
Emotions in me overwhelm
But Lord, I know that though I leave
This place of prayer that means so much
Our talks continue through the day
And I still feel Your loving touch
My Lord, I can’t imagine life
Without the knowledge of Your love
Or precious moments that we share
Those moments never seem enough
The Pharisees brought a woman
Caught in an adulterous act
And threw her at Your feet
To test the way that You’d react
The law said they should stone her
“He who has no sin” You said
“From the eldest to the youngest
Cast the first stone!” They all fled
They all would if they just could
But all of them had sinned
My Lord, You could, but never would
You gave her grace unearned
A lady of the night approached
As You prepared to eat
She washed Your feet with tears
And with her hair she dried Your feet
Expensive oil she poured in love
Upon Your feet that day
Repentant of her many sins
Her sins You washed away
Lazareth was dead four days
Within the tomb he lay
You shouted, “Lazareth Come forth!”
And he arose that day
You saw a funeral taking place
A widow’s only son
You raised him from his sleep of death
And awe gripped everyone
A little girl took ill and died
Her parents were distraught
You took her by the hand and said, Arise
And she awoke
You did so many signs and wonders
Too numerous to write
Blind eyes could see, deaf ears could hear
And demons took to flight
Lord of Heaven, Earth and skies
Of sea and space and time
Whom men and angels worship
You alone are God divine
In joy I kneel before Your throne
And humbly I lay down
My offerings of praise and thanks
Upon Your holy ground
Teach me, Lord, how to receive
All that Your have in store
I know there’s more than I can grasp
My GOD whom I adore
Teach me to speak the truth I pray
When trials come crashing down
For nothing evil can remain
When I’m on solid ground
Teach me to speak Your promises
That darkness tries to hide
To stand when I’ve done all to stand
And stay close to my side
Teach me to speak the finished work
Of cross and death and life
To spread the good News to the world
Of our Lord Jesus Christ
All thanks belong to You oh Lord
Creator of both Heaven and Earth
God of the seen and unseen realms
Creator of the universe
Yours is the greatness and the power
The glory, majesty and splendour
For everything in Heaven and Earth
Is Yours, oh Lord, forever and ever
Yours, oh Lord, is the Kingdom
You’re in control, oh King of Kings
Wealth and honour come from You
You are the Ruler of all things
In Your hand are power and might
By Your discretion You make great
And give strength to Your chosen ones
Your glorious Name we celebrate
You care about the little things
The smallest details of our lives
Our very hairs You’ve numbered
Not a thing escapes Your eyes
You see our joy and laughter
You see our very deep despair
Lord, You see each hidden agony
Because You really care
Our successes and our failures
Are not hidden from Your sight
Your compassions never end
And in our victories You delight
You see depression’s devastation
On our bodies and our minds
You see the battles fought within
Our thoughts being undermined
You’re aware of our emotions
Each forgiveness, each offence
Each desire, every hatred
Insecurities, confidence
When we fall You’re quick to lift us
When we run You cheer us on
In this race of life to win the prize
That’s waiting at Your throne
My love transcends eternity
It is this love that set you free
I gave all that I gave to give
So that you may not die, but live
My back was scourged and blood flowed free
My very bones looked up at Me
They plucked My beard and punched My face
Beat Me with sticks, these men so base
A cruel crown of thorns I bore
That pierced My flesh and deeply tore
Excruciating agony
I suffered nailed onto a tree
I thirsted but they gave Me gall
My nakedness revealed to all
While soldiers cast lots laughingly
For the cloak they took from Me
In love became sin for your sake
To cleanse and to eradicate
The price of sin you’d have to pay
Had I not died for you that day
Blow the trumpet, Zion
The army’s on their way
The day of the Lord has come
This dark and dreadful day
The mightiest army ever
Is marching in His name
A fire burns before them
Behind, a burning flame
Before them, land like Eden
Behind them, desert waste
Nothing can escape them
This war is Spirit based
Like horses in appearance
They move like Cavalry
With noise like that of chariots
They charge forth fearlessly
Leaping over mountain tops
Aflame like crackling fire
Consuming stubble in their way
This army does not tire
The nations are in anguish
And every face turns pale
Seeing these mighty warriors
As many walls they scale
They all march in a straight line
Not swerving from their course
Not jostling each other
Marching straight ahead, this force
They plunge through all defences
Not breaking ranks at all
They rush upon the City
And they run along the wall
Climbing through the windows
Like thieves, they enter in
The Earth quakes at their coming
And the sky shakes, seeing them
The sun and moon are darkened
And the stars no longer shine
The Lord gives voice before them
Their warrior king divine
An army without number
Mighty those who do His will
His day is great and dreadful
Who can endure it still?
